With the government shut down since December 22 our fellow citizens working for the government are feeling the pain. Just imagine not collecting a paycheck for (as of this writing) two paychecks, not a good place to be. Thankfully, many people have stepped forward to help. Not staying behind are many restaurants in Miami offering free or highly discounted prices to federal workers with an ID.

We put together a list of restaurants in the Miami area that are helping federal workers. As these might change at anytime, please be sure to double check with the corresponding restaurant prior to making a purchase.

Pollo Tropical

Miami based pollo tropical is offering discounted meals to federal workers with a valid ID. For $2.99 you can purchase a meal of chicken with rice and beans throughout Florida. Thank you pollo tropical
